MIDC to develop areas around Delhi Mumbai corridor

Project Today reported that Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation is planning to develop the area around the proposed Delhi to Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The areas to be developed include Nashik, Pune, Thane, Mumbai and Raigad.

As per report the MIDC has appointed ILFS and Richard Wilson as its consultants for the job. The MIDC is expected to draw out its plan of action after receiving the economic potential study report.

The DMIC will pass through Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra with end terminals at Dadri in Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust.
